Since 2014, School of Rock in the South Hills has been training Pittsburgh's next generation of rockstars. Their School of Rock house band, comprised of the best of their students, plays numerous festivals and block parties every summer in addition to providing tour support to regional & national acts in rock venues and a week-long tour around the country. Locally, they have also played many local rock clubs such as Stage AE, The Crafthouse Stage and Grill, Thunderbird Music Hall, Black Forge, and more.

Students must audition to be selected for the exclusive House Band, which performs rock songs from iconic bands of various eras & styles such as Heart, Boston, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Arctic Monkeys, Rush, and The Allman Brothers among others! Prepare to be amazed by the School of Rock's incredible set; their students bring the rock harder than most "pro" bands they share the stage with! Older rock fans are enchanted by the School of Rock's musical skill, and younger audiences will be mesmerized by their infectious exuberance.
